I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wyndham Destinations (North Myrtle Beach, Horry, SC) in July 2010
Interview
Initial interview was with head recruiter who proceeded to question my experience from my resume by asking probing questions concerned with reasons for leaving and taking on new professional roles. This gentlemen seemed to have good personnel management skills and people skills in general. Second interview with 2 sales managers was very uncomfortable and more like an inquisition. My impression of these two was not good. Their demeanor and impersonal style made me feel as though they viewed me strictly as a means to their end. This was a clear red flag of how they view their employees and was an indication to me that I would prefer to be supervised by someone else.

Interview
So I applied for this position via indeed had a video interview via zoom for the Wyndham in NOLA then went in for an interview in person and a couple days later was offered the position. I was going to take the job until they started calling me multiple times a week and always when I was working. They never needed anything during these calls just wanted to call and check in and would do this 2-3 a week. Whenever we spoke I’d politely tell her I’m only available to talk during the work week between 11:30-12:30 (lunch break) or anytime after 4:30 once I’m off. The woman which was always the same person mind you would acknowledge that and say okay but continued to call during times I wasn't available and did this for 3 weeks.. Ultimately that was a huge reason why I didn’t end up taking the position and the fact that during the interview process they changed where we would be meeting 4x and during training the base pay is only $12 an hour. It just was very chaotic and the fact that they were calling so much was a huge red flag plus having to live off a base pay of only $12 an hour until I started selling wasn’t doable especially in this economy.

Interview
2 step process, with recruiter and then ending with the VP of sales. It was very strait forward and a quick process. The training initially with the trainer was superb. I felt a high degree of product knowledge prior to starting on the floor.

Interview
Easy and descriptive. I felt that they gave me a very clear description of the role and company. They also described the commission structure completely. My biggest hesitation was that it was a purely commission based role.
