Very drawn out. Very disorganized. Lack of communication. I sensed the hiring manager was frustrated he cannot find someone to accept the role. I don't know if he is being handcuffed by his bosses or if it is the hiring manager causing the issue. The hiring manager seemed nice, which makes me think it is his bosses who I did not meet.
The position had been open for more than 3 months when I interviewed so who knows how many candidates had already been interviewed. My guess is a lot. The hiring manager wants an "A" player but wants to pay "C" player wages. Seriously, they are offering $20k less than market, which is probably why they can't get someone to accept. The company itself is very unstable and going through major transformation. They are not growing. I sense a major re-org. Be careful if you are considering this role or company for employment.

Question 1
Typical background interview questions. You should ask open ended questions to draw out and understand the real issues.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Xerox (Guatemala City) in June 2014
Interview
Total of 3 interviews, 1 talent acquisition, 2 US management. Quick one week process in my case. The first portion were merely so TA could get to know me. The following 2 interviews were with who would be my US based manager, the first one industry knowledge and specifics were discussed and exchanged, on the second one the discussion was centered on my skill set and was required for the position.
