Application
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Yellow Pages (Scarborough, ON) in Sept 2016
Interview
By far the most relaxed, yet challenging, interviews that I've ever had. I was interviewed by two sales managers - both very friendly, but also very supportive. It may seem bizarre to highlight the supportiveness of ones interviewers, but when applying for the role of MAC at YP, you better expect to be challenged to some outbound sales roleplaying. I, however, was not fully expecting the roleplaying. After fumbling my pitch at the outset of the exercise, the managers gave me some notes, and then let me take another swing at it. Seems supportive to me. The rest of the interview process is much like any other interview. Background, strengths, weaknesses, goals... you know the rest.

Question 1
If a customer asks, why do I need the Yellow Pages to market, what would your response be?
It was focused and ore scenario-based along with tell me your worst sales call as well as your best sales call. They were open to me asking them several questions also.

Interview
I had about three phone call interviews. The first was with a manager for screening and then in the second interview, I had two managers on the phone. They asked a series of questions to find out how you would handle certain situations. They then would have a chat with each other and then call back back if they wanted to move forward.
