I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Young Foodies in Sept 2022
Interview
A really strange process. I applied via LinkedIn for a Marketing Assistant position and received a message a few weeks after, asking if I was free for an initial phone conversation to discuss my experience. After a week or so of chasing I managed to negotiate a time and date for the call.
I had presumed that, given I had applied for a position with Young Foodies and given that I had been contacted in relation to it, this would be an interview. I was actually told on the phone that this position wasn’t available. I’m not sure if the position ever was available or if it was offered to someone else as the details were really unclear. I was asked by the interviewer to keep in touch if I accepted a new role which seemed an odd thing to ask as there are no opportunities available at Young Foodies and the interviewer did not know if there would be any in the near future. I was told they would keep my details on their file and be in touch if they had any new positions in the near future. It felt like a massive waste of my time and resources to apply for a job that seemingly did not exist and very unprofessional to not have that explicitly explained to me ahead of this bizarre phone call.
I won’t be applying for any roles with Young Foodies again as I wouldn’t trust if their job postings exist or not.
Really good. Thorough but efficient. Met a number of the team, everyone was nice. Interesting company and role. Offices are nice. Asked some good questions. Relaxed atmosphere, gave loads of info Amati on about the role.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Young Foodies in July 2019
Interview
3 interviews felt like it could've been conducted in 1. To be honest by the last interview I wasn't interested in the job as it seemed like a poorly defined role and a poorly run company. They also seemed to have decided on another candidate by the time I did my third interview, tw of the three interviewers seemed in no way interested in me
