I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Zip Co in Sept 2022
Interview
Quite a basic process, why Zip etc, but largely just go through the JD and explain have you done this or not.
Felt very amatuer in terms of the HR screening, and the rejection email even had bad grammar and different fonts!
Asked for some feedback on my application, but got no response weeks later. Disappointing, but probably a good thing I didn’t progress, shows a lot about the company right now!
2 interviews, second is a work sample assessment highly relevant to the role. Overall an enjoyable process and framed quite casually. Team are communicative and recruiters are very helpful throughout.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Zip Co (Sydney) in June 2025
Interview
Initially took a while after the HR screen, but moved quickly after that. Gave me plenty time to do the take home exam and also moved quickly when I said I had competing offers on the table. Met me halfway for a salary negotiation.
