One digital recorded interview with behavioral questions pertaining to the company's core values. Final round would have been in Chicago, for 2 day site visit. I go to school in New Jersey and was given a week and a half's notice I'd have to fly out there for the interview. I had a personal conflict, and when I communicated this, I was told I could not be accommodated and there would be no alternative days to complete the interview.
I was rejected from the role because I happened to not be able to be in Chicago on a week and half's notice. I found this to be very rude and frustrating.
Not once during this process did I speak to a human. First round was automated Hirevue, followed by generic automated emails informing me of the final round. Received one terse email from a recruiter.
It's possible HR is much better in other offices/business units for BP, but this experience was horrible.
