      Quant Trading Intern Interview

      17 Dec 2020
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at bp in Dec 2020

      Interview

This is not a bad review because I was rejected. But because of how I was rejected. Below is a list of the stuff they put you through, -initial application -SJT -numerical test, verbal test, logical test - Stats test (while being recorded) -Coding tests (also recorded) -A few explaining concepts while being recorded -Video interview All of the above was fine and not out of the ordinary for similar jobs that I have been applying to. The stages from coding onwards must be done all at once and take 3 hours to do, at least. After all this, only a simple auto-reject email was sent. With no feedback at all, the recruiter also ignored my email when I asked. It was quite disrespectful that at such late stages of the hiring process this is all they say. I'd understand if I failed at the initial screening. Anyway, I will apply to their competitors, but not these guys again.
