Such a great experience! Loved the representatives and hiring managers I spoke with! I did the interview via HireVue and I felt very comfortable with the practice questions. The next interview will be a live interview via HireVue

Question 1
Name a time where you helped a customer get through a difficult situation
I was turned down for an interview after submitting a resume with 12 years experience in the category they only needed 2 yrs in.
I ran my resume and their job description through an ATS first which said I had a 79% chance of my resume not making it to a human eye which I was assured of the very next day after applying when an email was sent saying that in the few hours that they had my resume that I was "carefully considered" for the position but that they decided not to move forward with my application.
The ATS rated my resume as overqualified for an entry level position. Based on subtle differences between my resume and the job description (such as using "proven record" instead of "proven track record") that my resume only had a 21% chance of being seen by a human.
I couldn't care less, I would've liked the work from home work but I will probably make more from the article I'm freelancing about ATS tracking sabotaging good candidates and blinding employers from great candidates.
