I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at eBay (San Jose, CA) in Apr 2020
Interview
I was disappointed with Ebay's unprofessional interview process. The interviewers were rude and hardly listened through out the conversation.
I had 2 virtual interviews - both interviewers were distracted and disrespectful of my time. One of the interviewers turned off video mid interview/muted while I was answering, and wasn't there for a few mins. I knew this because he asked me follow up questions on exactly what I had explained in detail when he went away. The other interviewer hardly listened to what I was saying, interrupted me in my every sentence to tell me how great his knowledge of something was.
I do not truly understand the need to be rude in an interview; and dismiss everything a candidate has to say.
I found the interview process to be a complete waste of my time and reflective of Ebay's and this team's culture.
3 video calls and final interview in person. The video calls were with the team which were in the UK and US, did take about 1.5 months to schedule. Relaxed interviews, nothing too complex/difficult, good interviewers

Interview
Recruiter did not show up to the interview that she scheduled. No communication before or after the appointment time. Just didn't show up at all and wasted my time. So unprofessional.
