I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at shopkick (Redwood City, CA) in Sept 2015
Interview
Weird screening process, screening was very nice and then when I visited the company they put me to some junior interviewers who are asking me only sql questions, where as in the phone it was not that detailed on sql , it was more towards managing the analytics and basic sql.
I wanted to know more abt the product but they cut the interview in one round just because i didnt know their sql.
Total bad experience not that I do now know SQL but how they treat people. Its one room all cramped with people every where.
Also, had a question to their CEO , in this world of online b2b , how can a company like shopkick would survive.? May be this product is for countries where people are not into online shopping.
This was waste of time and think twice before you accept the offer.
