I applied online. I interviewed at wagamama (Manchester, England) in Jan 2023
Interview
Very easy going interview, quick chat followed by trial shift, everyone very welcoming. Applied online them received email with invitation. I arrived a bit earlier and was welcomed by one of the crew members, then seated and had chat with general restaurant manager. Trial lasted around an hour, I was tasked with usual waiters/host duties. After shift I have also received a meal on the house! Very nice experience
A quick telephone chat and then a face to face interview.after that they invite you for a discovery section, just to show you around how wagamama works. They just wanted to see how you interact with customers.
I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at wagamama (London, England) in Apr 2019
Interview
From the first point of contact via email and phone call to the face to face interview with General Manager everyone was so welcoming and friendly! Felt like more of a chat with a friend than an interview but that comes with knowing about the job you are applying for as it makes answering questions and asking them easier! Do your base research before the interview if you really want the job to ensure you get off to a flying start.
