Role overview
As an Electronics Engineer at Aquila, you'll help develop the electronics behind its laser-based wireless power transmission systems. The work spans power electronics, PCB design, laser safety systems, drone integration, and testing of energy-delivery hardware.
Key responsibilities
Design and develop laser safety electronics.
Own the full PCB lifecycle: requirements, schematic capture, component selection, layout, bring-up, testing, and integration.
Design high-efficiency laser driver circuits.
Develop and validate prototype hardware.
Integrate radio systems, sensors, and drone-mounted equipment.
Support receiver-side electronics for wireless energy transmission systems.
Collaborate with optical, mechanical, mechatronics, and firmware engineers.
Produce technical reports and present findings to the engineering team.
