About the Role

As the Assistant Venue Manager, you will work closely with the Venue Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue. You will play a key role in leading the team, maintaining high operational standards, growing sales, and ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Venue Manager in all aspects of venue operations
• Lead, coach, and develop Team Leaders and Crew Members
• Deliver exceptional customer service and guest experiences
• Drive sales through upselling, promotions, and team engagement
• Manage labour costs and roster planning
• Ensure food safety and venue compliance standards are met
• Monitor venue presentation, cleanliness, and maintenance
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
• Support the execution of parties, functions, and special events
• Analyse venue performance and assist in achieving revenue targets

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience in hospitality, entertainment, retail, or leisure management
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Experience with food and beverage operations is highly regarded
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• A hands-on leadership style with a passion for developing people
