Invoicing & Administrative Clerk/Associate
Role Overview
The Invoicing & Administrative Clerk supports the Gordon Brothers finance and operations (C&I and Retail) teams with invoicing and general administrative tasks. This role contributes to the smooth running of day-to-day business activities within a professional services environment. This role is based in Australia, and applicants must reside in Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Invoicing Support
Prepare and issue client and purchase invoices in accordance with engagement terms and internal processes
Check invoice details such as entity names, addresses, pricing, and quantities for accuracy
Track outstanding invoices and assist with follow-ups as required
Respond to billing queries and escalate issues when needed
Maintain accurate and organised records of invoices, payments, and supporting documentation
Operational Administrative Support
Provide day-to-day financial administrative support to the C&I and Retail teams
Assist with coding, data entry, filing, and document management
Support month-end activities such as reconciling assets and expenses and preparing sales reports
Coordinate and maintain supplier accounts for Gordon Brothers as a client
Assist with document preparation
Skills & Experience
Essential
Experience in an administrative, finance support, or office-based role
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Basic understanding of accounting or invoicing principles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Desirable
Experience using invoicing or accounting systems such as Xero, NetSuite, or QuickBooks
Qualification or study in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
