The opportunity

As a SAP Senior Business Support Analyst - Finance, you will join the SAP Solutions Team within CSIRO's Information Management and Technology (IM&T) group. Where you will provide specialist SAP expertise to support the systems and services that underpin critical business functions across the organisation.

Working closely with Finance, IM&T and business stakeholders, you will contribute to the design, development and continuous improvement of enterprise solutions, helping to create streamlined, user-focused systems that support business outcomes and leading practices. Leveraging data, insights and strong stakeholder collaboration, you will play a key role in delivering innovative, integrated and efficient SAP solutions that enable CSIRO's world-class science and research activities.

High-level duties include

• Champion technology to drive maximum productivity for all end users.
• Help establish a culture of continuous improvement and curiosity across all aspects of the finance systems lifecycle.
• Work with Finance and IM&T teams to ensure that solutions are delivered with the appropriate levels of quality, performance, availability, security, supportability, reusability, sociability and automation.
• Utilise effective partnering strategies across the Enterprise Services functions of CSIRO.
• Work with key staff in the Finance function to deliver systems to support the Finance System roadmap.

Location and office arrangements: Melbourne, Perth, Canberra, Brisbane or Sydney

Salary: AU$118,102 – AU$127,808 per annum (pro rata for part-time), plus 15.4% superannuation

As the successful candidate, you will bring:

Essential criteria

• Demonstrated sound knowledge of existing CSIRO Finance processes and procedures, and broader business practices.
• Extensive experience with writing functional specifications to translate business needs into system requirements for developers, this includes a working knowledge of ABAP.
• Extensive experience in the configuration of SAP Finance modules.
• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and with initiative to communicate, collaborate and work effectively across organisational boundaries.
• Demonstrated ability to contribute to a diverse and challenging program of work across the core SuccessFactors and on-premise SAP solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to create a positive impact within a team environment.

Eligibility
