As a float EN, you will work across multiple clinical areas, stepping in wherever your support is needed most. You may not be allocated to a single ward for the duration of your shift; instead, you’ll move between departments to provide timely, responsive care. This may include covering meal breaks, assisting with patient transfers, or delivering hands‑on clinical support. Throughout each shift, the Hospital Coordinator will guide your allocation to ensure safe staffing and smooth patient flow across the hospital. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy autonomy, variety and the opportunity to broaden their clinical experience.

About You
To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset with a passion for high-quality patient care. You will have exceptional customer service, confident communication and interpersonal skills. Key to this role will be experience in an acute general medical/surgical environment.

Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse

Minimum of 12 months’ post-grad experience as an Enrolled Nurse
