Our Sustainability and Industrial Technology team helps organisations rethink how they design, build and operate in a changing industrial landscape. Through our Vacationer Program, you'll spend your summer contributing to work across smart manufacturing, digital twins, supply chain resilience and operational transformation.
What will your typical day look like?
Over the course of your internship, you'll work across sustainability, industrial technology and transformation projects that help clients respond to complex operational and strategic challenges. You'll build practical skills while contributing to real work across design and manufacturing, government and agrifood contexts.
Support project delivery across areas like digital twins, smart manufacturing, supply chain resilience and product lifecycle management as a Vacationer in the Sustainability and Industrial Technology team
Contribute to proposals, pursuit materials and project outputs focused on operational improvement, transformation and industry capability
Research client issues, prepare insights and work with team members on digital and AI-focused solutions for asset-intensive industries
As well as learning in the flow of work, you'll be part of our structured Vacationer Program. You'll have a dedicated buddy, access to networking and social events, and the opportunity to be considered for an early graduate offer.
About the team
Our Sustainability and Industrial Technology team works with clients across design and manufacturing, government and agrifood, all sectors playing a role in Australia's transition towards greater sovereignty, sustainable manufacturing and value-added innovation. The team focuses on digital and AI projects for asset-intensive industries including transport, mining, defence, energy, climate and agriculture. You'll work across areas such as Digital Twins and Simulation, Supply Chain and Operational Resilience, Product Lifecycle Management, and Smart Manufacturing and Operations. It's a team for people who want exposure to complex industrial problems and the chance to help build more resilient, future-ready organisations.

We're seeking penultimate-year students to join our Vacationer Program.
You may have all or some of the following:
Curiosity and a genuine interest in learning
Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Interest in digital and AI-enabled industrial transformation
Comfort asking questions and learning through feedback
Alignment with Deloitte's values and inclusive culture
You'll be studying a relevant degree, such as commerce, STEM, business, international relations, government, policy, engineering, information technology or computer science
