Mission: We’re firm believers that life’s greatest experiences are made better by the people you share them with. That’s why Contiki invented group travel for young people in 1962 and we’ve spent the past 53 years perfecting it.
I have been working at Contiki full-time (Less than a year)
Great company culture, supportive management team
Limited positions available within Australia means progression is more difficult
I applied online. The process took 4+ months. I interviewed at Contiki (Melbourne) in October 2017.
I put in an expression of interest in March, applications opened in August. I was asked to complete a 5+ page form to apply. Then moved on to a video interview (pre recorded questions), after this I was finally asked to attend a group recruitment day. I was asked to prepare a three minute speech on a specific topic that they chose for me, you are not allowed to use any notes/cue cards/visual aids at all. It must be timed to exactly three minutes otherwise they cut you off.
The first half of the process took three hours, for them to talk to us about the job and then for everyone to do their presentations. After this you are asked to leave, and then given a mobile number to call to find out if you get to come back for an interview. They do not offer any feedback at all, they just tell you yes or no.
