Mission: Making people’s lives better by powering a more prosperous world.
I have been working at Cummins full-time (More than 3 years)
Flexible and lot of career opportunities
People take personal opinion in to account
Too many employees with many years experience
I applied through other source. The process took 3+ months. I interviewed at Cummins (Melbourne) in November 2011.
This was an internal interview so I already knew the position, the people interviewing me and the position requirements in relatively good detail. The interview process consisted of one interview with hiring manager and then a second panel interview with 3 other people including HR. I was asked to prepare and present a Powerpoint summary of how I would handle a particular project if it were assigned to me. The rest of the questions were based on the Behavioral Interview method. There was a long gap (3-4 weeks) between the two interviews and after the second interview (which was succesful), it took over 4 weeks to get an offer. The overall process was too long, especially for an internal job, but otherwise pleasant experience.
Minimal because it was an internal job change so I already knew the role and the salary package etc.
It’s great to make one of Forbes’ employer rankings, but to make three in one year is positively humbling. Thanks to Forbes and all those who recommended Cummins as one of America’s Best Employers and a great place for women and diversity. Read more: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQI3R
