Holmen AB can see the forest for the trees. The company's three product-based business segments include Holmen Paper (telephone directory paper, newsprint, office paper, and coated printing paper), Iggesund Paperboard (paperboard for packaging, graphic purposes, book covers, and brochures), and Holmen Timber (sawn timber production and distribution for the woodworking industry). Its two raw materials-oriented businesses include Holmen Skog (timberland management) and Holmen Energi (hydro power assets). The company produces over 2.5 million tons of paper products a year. Swedish brokerage firm L E Lundbergföretagen has a controlling stake in Holmen.
