Pros

- Talented and capable colleagues at local / middle management level - Freedom to disconnect

Cons

Since the business decided to merge with our sister company in 2024, there has since been an impressive destruction of company culture. What was once a fulfilling place to work, has quickly descended into a dystopian nightmare. - Disconnect between senior leadership and reality = 'Do more with less' - Not listening to employee feedback - Rather than senior leadership coming up with a plan to address concerns, they ask for middle management to come up with action plans of how to resolve, when the problem is senior leadership themselves - Removal of flexible working and mandatory 5 day RTO for 'productivity' - No clear 5 year plan for future beyond 'cost cutting' - Removal of training and development department = no opportunities for career growth - Senior directors incapable of making a decisive decision - Capable employees often overlooked for senior positions in favour of 'yes-people' - Questionable decision making favouring Sweden based employees rather than the best people for the job.

Pros

The company owns a lot of forrest and has a long term comitted owner,

Cons

The managment culture is really bad. In at least one of the production sites managment by fear is the prefered method of some of the big bosses and they let them keep doing it. At the Paper head office you are promoted if you are a yes-sayer and agree to everthing that the CEO says. Master Supession techniques, "härskartekniker" in Swedish is used everywhere and as a regular worker you get no information about what is happeing or what the future plan is. Many are working so hard, but get no recongition, and some departments just do busywork and paly office all day. I was really surprised to see that they won a prize for being a grate employer, maybe that wast true ten years ago, but not now.
