Lights! Camera! Action! Integrated Electrical Services (IES) has a hand in all three. The company installs and maintains electrical and communications systems for residential, commercial, and industrial customers. Work on commercial buildings and homes includes custom design, testing, and maintenance on low-voltage systems such as lighting, fire alarm, audio/video, and Internet cabling. On the industrial side, IES performs high- and medium-voltage systems installation and construction on power stations, oil and gas pipelines, and processing plants. The company has a network of some 70 locations serving the continental US. Banking investor Jeffrey Gendell, through Tontine Capital Partners, owns about 60% of IES.
