Description LCEC is in business to deliver electricity. As a cooperative, we are not in business to make a profit, or to raise funds for government or investors. We are dedicated to serving our members' needs. This wouldn't be possible without a team of committed, knowledgeable people - approximately 375 of the best people in the electric utility industry. We provide power to more than 212,700 residential and commercial customers across five counties in Southwest Florida. Our service territory includes Cape Coral, North Fort Myers, Marco Island, Sanibel and Captiva Islands, Pine Island, Everglades City, Immokalee, Ave Maria, and parts of Lehigh Acres. We operate and maintain more than 8,000 miles of transmission and distribution lines and our power is supplied by Florida Power and Light.
