TEPPCO Partners has a lot of business in the pipeline. Through its Downstream segment, TEPPCO transports refined petroleum products through more than 4,700 miles of pipeline between Texas and New York. Its Midstream segment (with 2,500 miles of pipeline) has natural gas gathering operations in Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, and Wyoming, and natural gas liquid fractionation facilities in Colorado. Its Upstream assets include more than 4,380 miles of crude oil pipeline. The company is also engaged in the marine transportation business of oil and refined products. Texas Eastern Products Pipeline, the company's general partner, is controlled by related entity Enterprise GP Holdings L.P.
