Pros

Excellent pay for physicians. Long clinic hours but no call.

Cons

Productivity and advancement in this company is based primarily on how many radiologic tests, whether needed or not needed, you order. You could see more patients than the other physicians, but if you don't buy in to ordering countless, "unnecessary" tests, you will be fired. Lots of politics. Money, money, money is the way it goes, not patient care, because as a physician you are ordering tests that are not really necessary according to most standardized medical guidelines. Profits are based on false positive screening test results, that result in more and more tests being ordered. It's crazy.

Pros

Flexible with time off if requested, Co Workers that's about it

Cons

Turnover rate is outrageous, Racism all around and if you complain you will become a target and get threatened with termination, changes everyday, insurance fraud, they order unnecessary tests on patients(if you have morals you will hate that) management works together to get rid of you if you bring up the illegal activity. Not an equal employment employer at all. They highly underpay the staff which is mostly minorities UNLESS you are management AND caucasian. Stay away

Pros

No pros, I was let go after 2 1/2 days. 2 days of training as an office visit biller then was told I was hired as an outpatient for E/M side. Never got a sign in component. Reported on Monday morning and was told by 11:00 that I was no long needed because I had 3 days of training and did not seem to be a good fit as an outpatient coder, that they needed some one who could take off running.

Cons

Management did not have their stuff together. How do you hire a person, trained in a position for 2 days then find out on day 2 afternoon that was not the position you hired for and go in the 19th hour that you are not a good fit when you did not have a chance grant you I don't have outpaitient coding but I do have 10 years of coding inpatient experience which they knew up front. I did not proclaim to know outpatient on my application. Administration did not know if I could take off running or not, was not given a fair chance.
