No work life balance. HRs gaslight you when you go to them with your problems.

Pros

Very good brands, who have scopes laid out for digital advertising. Probably one of the few digital agencies with clients that have proper budgets for digital-exclusive campaigns. Enviable roster of opportunities.

Cons

All those budgets are put to waste, thanks to the extremely stressful environment here. Everything is a struggle here. Things that seemed so simple to execute in other digital agencies, take forever here. All my conversations with the teams here has had an undertone of stress. It's complicatedly disorganised. In the aim to be "different" and "efficient" you have multiple people speaking to one client on one job. There's so much that gets mixed up, which leads to double work. While the people who work here are nice people individually, there is absolutely no team spirit. No one would back you up, or work with you for the bigger picture. Everyone is just looking out for themselves. Also, creative ideas are plagiarised. Done subtly, so not many would notice. No creative mentorship, either. There's also a ton of resistance against the current management that comes with decades of experience in the industry. Funny, considering the bunch resisting them are literally infants. Avoid.

Pros

Good Brands to work with

Cons

1. Extremely Bad Work Life Balance - Overtime is considered a norm, with no added pay. The company's senior executives are terrible at project management and roadmap planning due to which the entire project gets delayed causing juniors to sit till then and complete the work. 2. Toxic Politics - The senior level executives specially the likes of Jay Sangoi are extreme megalomaniacs. The senior management is highly incompetent, no ice breaking, no team bonding, just toxic environment with team mates and throwing people under the bus to save themselves. 3. Extremely low retention rate - due to the politics of senior management likes of Jay Sangoi, the team faces a high retention rate of 6 months, which leads to a new team to be formed every 6 months. The presidents, vice presidents, HRs do not care about employees but the senior exes who are depreciating the reputation of the agency. 4. Bullying and Harassment - You will often find juniors being harassed by these so called senior executives (some of them which i have mentioned above) causing a hostile environment. 5. Incompetent leaders -- the managers and senior managers are involved in petty politics often sidelining the development and growth of juniors. Juniors are treated like machines and often dumped with loads of work with no value or development. Senior roles are often expected to work in the same level as a team leader or managers without adequate pay upgrade, just added responsibilities.
