Cons
To start, there was a review that outlined a lot of the points below but it was deleted, unfortunately, the rating displayed is not transparent or accurate as a result of filtering reviews. In addition, I noticed the following issues during my time with the company: - High turnover. - Extremely disorganized and disconnected leadership team - Leaders encourage hiding things from the CEO which makes dishonesty normal despite being unacceptable and uncomfortable. - Compensation is below the industry average. - Health-care is not optimal. - Very little room for growth - financially and professionally. - Work/life balance is advertised but very hard to actually practice with the unsustainably high workload. - Very little transparency. The leadership team acts like they are forward with changes but hide most of the shifts that impact the team which creates panic. - High drama. A lot of office politics and chatter around the issues that are not being fixed. - Leadership solicits advice and feedback but then becomes frustrated when it is negative or calling attention to issues with workflow and day-to-day. - The industry is VERY specific (multifamily) and if you are not from that industry, the lack of training makes it hard to navigate. - There is a lot of finger-pointing when things go wrong and very little problem-solving from the leadership team. - Many people have been promised raises (some for 12+ months) who have not received them despite taking on more work or meeting agreed-upon goals. - Men are weirdly favored and as much as I hate saying that, it is noticed by most of the staff, including the men. - Little to no diversity. - Reviews and 1:1 meetings are basically non-existent and rarely helpful or constructive. There is no goal setting or plan to measure improvement and when there is, there is no follow-through. - People are fired often without reason and it can be alarming and create job insecurity for the rest of the team. - Generally more stressful than it needs to be due to politics and lack of training or constructive resources. - A lot of changes in roles internally but not necessarily logical or growth-related changes. - Leadership has a tendency to be condescending often talks down to staff.
