Pros

Best thing about 360 is that the non-managerial employees are great. There is a survive together mentality where all lower ranked employees band together and share in the struggle against the higher ranked employees. It doesn't sound like a pro, but generally it's fun working like that and the work itself is fulfilling. It's nice to be able to service brands and create content for them. It's nice talking to brand owners and sharing in their success when we do a good job.

Cons

There are really so many things wrong with the company and they generally ALL stem from the CEO and her cronies (upper management). There have been good people who made it to upper management that would stand up to her previously but one by one they left or resigned. It's even worse now that they are gone. Nobody stands up to the CEO. Because it is public knowledge, I will name drop. The CEO of 360 Digital Agency, Kyra Co is the one I am referring to. 1. The CEO personally acknowledged that over two years of government mandatory contributions and income tax have not been paid. There were plans to pay for everything owed to us, but the CEO personally overturned the plans and unilaterally decided not to pay anything. I have about a year and a half of work that I have zero government contributions for. My retirement fund should have started at the age of 22, but instead it is starting at the age of 24. I'm not being a drama queen, but that means she has wasted two years of my life. 2. The CEO, through managers within the company asks us to lie to our clients. When something goes wrong it's always lie lie lie lie. We are told to fake progress and present it. We are told to cram 1 month of work into 3 days then try to pass it off as if we did the work normally. We are told to blame problems that we caused on things outside of our control. We are told to blame employees who quit even if they have nothing to do with the problems. We are instructed to LIE! 3. Our clients don't pay VAT and we don't issue official receipts. I think this is the preference of the CEO because I have a friend in the sales department of 360 Digital and my friend told me that the CEO pushes for the sales to be done without an official receipt so that we can avoid paying VAT. 4. There are many more problems but they're the kind of problems that all companies have so I won't go into detail. It's the usual problems of burn out, working long hours, low pay etc. Like for example I had a 200 work hour month one time, and I was only paid less than PHP25,000 for it. They did not pay for overtime because "there is no overtime in this company, your work should be good for 160 hours per month, if you take longer it's because you are inefficient. The CEO claims to be obssessed with efficiency but actually she just wants to save money so she can waste it on other things. Instead of increasing our salary the CEO wastes money on things like an expensive town hall that honestly could have been done over a call. It was supposed to be the replacement for our team building, but there was no team building in it. It was just people talking and it wasn't fun at all. The CEO also made herself the star of the show even if actually she doesn't do anything for the company anymore. When I was new, she would get clients for us and help out with projects and check up on people to make sure everything is ok, but now all she does is make herself feel good by having calls with the managers and showing that she's the boss and whatever she says will happen. She only thinks whatever she says will happen, it's not true. Some managers say yes to her and then don't do it because they know what she said is stupid and will hurt the company.

The fall of 360 — c/o the CEO

Pros

There are a lot of good members in this company. Unfortunately, it's wasted talent.

Cons

There are a lot of downsides to working in this company that I can legitimately write an entire thesis about it but to save you all the time, I will simplify them into shorter bullets that are easier to digest. 1) The CEO unilaterally makes all the decisions in the company. She makes an illusion that she consults other people and considers their ideas but in the end, she will still only listen to herself. To make things worse, she really lacks foresight and logic too so most of her decisions are just making things worse. 2) She (CEO) is very defensive. She tells everyone that she is always happy to hear feedback from people but somehow, every time she is given feedback, all she does is defend herself. 3) CEO needs to get slapped back into reality and touch some grass. She plays with her team's employment status a lot, not really considering the fact that unlike herself, there are people who actually live pay check to pay check. This is really sad. I have a lot of colleagues who were full time employees that got downgraded to project based status. But even that is a lie. That's just her way of softening the blow. You're basically fired when you become part time because more often than not, no projects will be assigned to you. 4) When things go awry, the CEO always finds someone to blame but fails to see that her lack of leadership/mentorship is the reason why things are always getting out of hand. She expects her team to excel but she never provides resources. 5) She is not always present and comes and goes as she pleases. She's there when she needs something from you but is rarely available when you need her guidance. Sure, in other companies, the CEOs are not always readily available to all their constituents but this company is a special case because she likes to make all the decisions yet she's rarely available to feel the repercussions of her bad decisions. 6) CEO feels like she's just ordering a latte from Starbucks when she asks things from you. When she's requesting for things, she expects that you are able to finish them quick because you have to be "efficient" in your job. However, as soon as something is handed over to her, it takes her weeks to give feedback and once she does, she expects you to revise ASAP. I could go and on about why this company is doing terribly and you might have noticed that all the cons written about the company are all about the CEO. But truly, most, if not all the problems of the company really stems from her.
