Pros
Sometimes we get to leave early on Fridays. Casual work attire. They occasionally buy lunch for the office.
Cons
At first they will love bomb you, but once you aren’t the shiny new toy anymore their attitude towards you will change. Contribution’s are not always recognized. The harder and more efficient you work, the more you will be asked to do and be given many hats to wear. High volume work with timelines and statutes to follow. Clients can be very demanding. A lot of the work is repetitive but service of process plays an important role in the legal system. The pay and benefits are not worth the stress. Mediocre people are hired and given fancy job titles with high salaries without any experience or knowledge of the business. Some people are hired and given the opportunity to work remotely, others aren’t. Some are hired and told they can keep their vacation time and not have to start over but others aren’t given the same option when they start. Some employees are supposedly given quarterly bonuses while others aren’t. They play favorites. In the Sarasota office, the higher ups openly talk bad about the other employees, process servers, and vendors. They yell and curse in the office. They try to cause a division between the Sarasota office and Tampa office. In meetings, they always bring up what the competition is doing and bash them instead of focusing on their own business. If you aren’t worshiping the ground they walk on they don’t want to hear what you are saying. Poor communication and organization within the company. They have people with manager titles but then tell the other employees they aren’t their manager even though they have a manager title. They change processes but will only tell a couple people and not notify the office regarding the changes. If employees ask questions or raise a concern they are told “Stay in your lane”. Process servers are constantly complaining about not being paid. You have no voice in this company. No opportunities for advancement. Benefits are practically nonexistent. There is no HR or organized training.
