Pros

Pure play Azure / Microsoft partner. If you're interested in this space, you will have tons of career growth and opportunity here. Fantastic senior leadership (C level, some directors) with very clearly defined vision, and for the most part, empathetic to the employees on both the delivery and sales side of things. Also, for the most part, fantastic peers you get to work with internally that make working here a joy. Good bonus system, as well as incentives for professional development.

Cons

Becoming somewhat top heavy; higher sales team than delivery team currently. Too often we are running into situations where we have little capacity with existing hires to address these projects, where we are now in situations where we are over 40hrs a week capacity. Furthermore, there is a very clear disconnect of the reality of delivery with the sales and solutions architecture team. We have a platform where we can review SOWs before they're sent off, but there are some cases where feedback and suggestions fall to deaf ears or completely disregarded, being labeled as irrelevant (when in reality it's very related). Likewise, with the growth that has occurred through the acquisitions, and the hiring.. we really need to enforce our core values of the organization. Especially with the merger, I can confidently say that there are many individuals within this organization we have inherited that don't completely align with the values we set as a business... which in turn, completely reshapes the culture we had. There is also, what I feel, a necessity for diversity and inclusion initiatives. Not necessarily from a hiring perspective (but it would be a plus if we had more diverse hires), but from a standpoint of making current employees aware of the different backgrounds of our talent pool (e.g., gender, culture, etc.). There are actually several individuals that are currently within the organization (some of which are in leadership roles) that blatantly say / share bigoted, unethical, and very discriminatory statements on their social media accounts (e.g., LinkedIn) regarding marginalized groups of people. It's gotten to a point where if I had to personally work with one of these individuals, it would make for an uncomfortable work environment.
