Pros

They provide one parking space to be shared between 10 people.

Cons

Working at 3Shape has been a disappointing experience. Despite the emphasis on university qualifications, it's evident that many in management lack both the academic background and relevant experience necessary for effective leadership. The result is a toxic work environment where basic principles of empathetic and communicative management are sorely lacking. Management creates an isolating environment where they make department decisions in secret without all related stakeholders and this results in robbing you of your autonomy and leaving you to clean up the mess of the consequences of their decisions. The pervasive "boys club" culture within the company is particularly disheartening. The trend of systematically replacing experienced female managers with less qualified male counterparts speaks volumes about the company's stance on gender equality and diversity. Moreover, the unethical behavior of management extends beyond mere incompetence. Instances of manipulation, where passwords are exploited for personal gain, are shockingly common. This abuse of trust undermines the integrity of the workplace and erodes employee morale. The expectation of consistent overtime without any form of remuneration is unjustifiable. Employees are expected to sacrifice their personal time, working late nights and weekends with no compensation, To make matters worse, the company's chronic inability to pay salaries on time reflects a profound lack of organizational integrity. Dependability and financial stability are fundamental expectations in any workplace, yet 3Shape consistently fails to meet these basic standards. Furthermore, the absence of inservice or training opportunities stifles career growth and development. Without avenues for skill enhancement and professional advancement, employees are left stagnant and disillusioned.

Pros

Interview process was straight forward. Vacation and sick time is generous.

Cons

Management shoots from the hip constantly. The 5 P's ( proper preparation prevents poor performance) alludes them. Chaotic launches of new software/hardware. No training of staff or timeline when it launches. Abusive and ignorant distributor network that 3Shape employees have to deal with. Management playing favorites to mediocre employees while the rest are disregarded and left to clean up a big mess. Management really doesn't care until its a issue that it may affect their image or standing, they can care less about the company or its employees. Salary is not competitive.

Pros

great co-workers, nice and central location. 3Shape biggest asset is its people and the energy people put into work, social groups, and gatherings.

Cons

At a townhall, our CEO once stated: "Happiness in the workplace is your own responsibility, not mine nor managements". Top management has a rather "old" and conservative perspective on "how to run business". Profit is of utter importance, but management tend to forget that great people are required to get there! I want to be a company that makes a greater difference, takes responsibility and value its employee. 3Shape does not do that at the moment.
