Openings are typically every month and a half - two months, which also gives you more time to work on outside curatorial proposals and backroom sales letters. Director, Mara Miller, is an excellent writer and has a lot to teach you about all kinds of writing. She is also a talented curator and makes her employees proud to help with her projects. She is very willing to train and teach you in areas you may need help.
Cons
The owner/director, Mara Miller, is very temperamental and it can be emotionally wearing. The gallery is not a huge money-maker, so the financial strains can be frustrating. She isn't a detail person and didn't always appreciate what was needed to run daily operations of the gallery.
