Pros

They are very well connected in the industry and working here will give you a pathway to many other great entertainment industry contacts. You get to attend early staff screenings of upcoming releases, request screeners of their most recent release up to 18ish months back. The average age of employees are 20s to 30s. Healthcare benefits are decent.

Cons

The A24 LA office operates differently from their NY office so this review is only for LA. Training was minimal to nonexistent. It was clear certain departments were operating haphazardly with employees being encouraged to take on multiple roles outside of their job description. No boundaries, they will call you outside of work hours. Pay rates are very low compared to industry standards and you won't get a 401k they only offer this profit sharing program with no set clear timeline of it paying out. When it comes to diversity and inclusion they advertise themselves as progressive, but the black employee retention rate is extremely low. People of color who come in leave just as quickly. The culture is every bit what their target demographic is: white male film bros. If that's you, you'll have a blast here. Otherwise consider if you really want to join this boys club.

Pros

-Cool content -Interesting position in the industry

Cons

-They give you no training and then are mean to you when you don't do something right on your first try -Passive aggressive coworkers who talk behind your back and expect you not to notice -They don't care to see you actually improve -No respect for others' time -Never made an effort to actually get to know me -Fakest people who are NOT actually willing to help you getting a job unless you are part of their clique -Managers are unable to be leaders and they don't value your work no matter how much effort you put into it

Pros

Flex time off policy and decent benefits. Overall A24 seems to have a high employee budget. I mostly felt like I was fairly paid.

Cons

Toxic culture. Popularity contest. Mean. Whispering in corners. Unauthentic. Controversy. A bunch of white guys getting credit for other peoples' work. Very close ties with Rudin and other industry folks who have allegations against them. I know A24 seems cool on the outside, but the inside is not all that impressive and you can do better.
