Pros

They used to give good compensation, but it no longer applies...

Cons

I worked at Aapna for a decent amount of time and while my experience was pretty good at the start, the company's management style has changed a lot over time, in a negative way. - Most of the positive reviews that can be seen at glassdoor are being pushed by the HR team and don't really provide the whole picture. - They promote WFH as if it is such a huge benefit for employees. But in reality, it's a huge benefit for the company because they will expect u to be available day and night, whenever it is required. - They have a tendency to push their employees to do tasks that don't really come under the work profile. They will make fake promises of upcoming projects related to your work profile but you will just keep on waiting. - Too much micro-management. They expect all employees to log each and every task that they spend time on and also mention the hours spent. And apart from this, they keep a software running to monitor your screen activity which also takes random screenshots. - The company believes in self-learning, a bit 'too much'. Most of the so-called experienced employees and higher management don't have any technical knowledge themselves. So if your goal is to be in an environment where you are expecting to learn from experienced people, steer away from here.

Pros

Supportive Company Culture: The company fosters a positive and supportive culture, even in a remote setting, ensuring a sense of belonging and teamwork. Effective Communication: Open communication channels and efforts from management help keep the team connected and aligned, despite the physical distance. Professional Development Opportunities: Emphasis on employee growth through various learning and development opportunities, contributing to personal and professional advancement. Employee Well-being Initiatives: The company prioritizes employee well-being, offering resources and initiatives that promote a healthy work-life balance. Collaborative Team Dynamics: Utilization of various platforms and tools for seamless collaboration, making teamwork efficient and enjoyable, even in a remote work setting. Valued Contributions: Feeling valued and supported by both the immediate team and the broader company structure, fostering a sense of appreciation for individual contributions.

Cons

I can't think of a con but would say that working remotely takes a lot of effort on both ends i.e. employer and employee. In a remote environment you don't get to see the colleagues on a regular basis which can be challenging sometime. But AAPNA is providing enough opportunities for the teams to connect at different intervals.

Autocratic approach by the management

Pros

There is nothing good about this company. Earlier they used to pay well, but now even that isn't there.

Cons

Don't go by all the positive reviews written about this company. They are all written by the company's management. If you want to get a good idea about this company, go through the following points. 1) Just because the company's management is giving permanent work from home for all employees, they feel that they can treat the employees however they want. They have the wrong idea that the employees won't work properly in a WFH setup if they are not constantly pressurized. They will expect the employees to stretch well beyond their actual working hours almost everyday. They will ask for hourly update from all managers. Managers will have to submit their own updates as well as their team's updates every hour. They will literally suck the life out of every single employee. 2) The management makes a lot of false promises to get experienced professionals from top level IT companies on board. Once they on board, they will start taking the employees for granted and will load them heavily with several tasks. In some cases, the management will force the employees to perform a totally different role from what they agreed in the interview. If the employees question the management, they will talk in an extremely unprofessional way. 3) The CEO is an extremely conniving person. If an employee asks for hike/ performance bonus, he will simply say that the company is not doing so well and will close the conversation. He is a very poor paymaster. There is no recognition at all even for performers. 4) There is absolutely no job guarantee. Anything can happen anytime. 5) The attrition rate of this company is extremely high. No experienced employee will stay there for a long time. 6) The work culture is very poor. 7) The management is extremely autocratic. They won't take any inputs from anybody. They will expect employees to act as puppets. 8) If an employee leaves, he/she has to literally plead with the management for settlement and relieving letter. 9) There is absolutely no work life balance. Continuing to work for a long time in this toxic setup might lead to burnout.

We appreciate your time and feedback. We have always strived to provide a flexible and supportive work/life balance to our Commandos especially during the most recent unprecedented times. We also encourage open lines of communication so would have loved if these sentiments were shared during the tenure, for us to action & understand better, when it mattered the most. One line that I would like to share, be the change you want to see in others and we will make a happier place for everyone.
