Pros
They pay on time ... usually ... even though they don't ever pay the full amount nor the first month's pay.
Cons
They abuse legal loopholes to absolve legal responsibility: in China, if you do not have the proper documentation in your possession and you are working, you are not protected by the Labor Law. The school doesn't tell any of their teachers that they are working illegally when they don't get the proper paperwork, and for those that they do, the refused to give the documentation to the teacher, meaning they can cancel the validity of said documents at any time thereby effectively firing anyone at any time without abiding by the contract or providing any warning. They hold onto each teacher's first month's pay as a "deposit" that they never return even if the contract is completed, often underpay the contracted amount, do not give teachers contracts as it could be used as evidence of the teacher illegally working at the school, they attach pages to the contract that didn't originally exist to entrap teachers with new "breach of contract" clauses and otherwise use dozens of illegal tricks to steal money from their employee foreign teachers. They don't provide any medical benefits, if you get sick and have to ask for leave, you are deducted crazy amounts of pay. You are not allowed more than one day off and frequently have to work 12 hour work days. Stay far, far away from them.
