      Pros

      They care about what they do. The people who work here are superheroes who put in so much and don't want anything for it. Angels is plain clothes

      Cons

      There is a toxic workplace culture here where If you think there is a problem with how things are, then you are the problem. Senior management does not take feedback well and frequently deflects. Performance evaluations are rare and inflammatory when given. Poor communication about events and expectations.

      Great mission with really poor culture and leadership

      Pros

      The mission is really amazing and the whole staff worked really hard to change the lives of homeless parents. The staff here is really small so you can be parts of a lot of different things.

      Cons

      Just learned a former director was promoted to CEO a few months ago. When I was there the director was the leader of a toxic and gossiping culture. This person would actively make fun of staff (name calling like "stupid") and emotionally manipulate others. While I would really hope that things really might have changed by now it's a shame to think that this amazing mission will probably just be overshadowed by the drama of the CEO and the CEO's poor character.
