Pros

None that I can think of.

Cons

The atmosphere is oppressive beyond belief. If there's an accident on your route to work, then phone in sick, because being late is not just frowned upon, but noted and recorded. Managing Director is the only director and is not accountable to anyone except himself. Hires and fires at will. You will constantly fear for your job. Hated it. Couldn't wait to get out.

Pros

The staff themselves are really nice and genuine

Cons

Bad company to work for. The director sits in the same office but refused to say good morning and ignored me, jobs are advertised as account management, when in fact it’s sales and cold calling (using ten year old data!), instead of support, training and encouragement, you are called out in front of everyone by the director if you fail to meet a target one week.

Pros

People in sales are good people, just trying to earn their keep. Made some friends for life. Good break schedule and clean offices.

Cons

Satirical ex accountant with the biggest ego I’ve ever come across. You want to know why your turnovers so high? (not monetary turnover) Treat your staff like human beings not numbers, I understand you want to reward those who have been with ADSI for a longer period of time, but you need to bring your business in to the 21st century. With a dying industry, something needs to be done. Tariffs aren’t going up in price, so your margin shrinks massively. Keep your staff, reward your staff, stop micromanaging. Fear is a terrible motivator. With regards to the rest of the role, its all rather mundane, remedial training officers who show no real intention to train an individual to get them up to scratch, they’d much rather hire someone they knew wasn’t suitable in the first place, just to make a point to the remaining staff, you’re not safe here.
