    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at AIG full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    Good exposure to insurance

    Cons

There is never any clear direction or stable management. The company culture is horrendous, horrible work-life balance. There is zero confidence in this company's long term future from investors and this puts pressure on existing employees to work harder, on less resources and no prospects for pay raises or promotions.

    Pros

Great company to work for, with access to highly skilled professionals. Great work life balance culture and flexibility arrangement.

    Cons

If you are not ready to work in a fast-paced organization, slightly underresourced, and changing regularly its way of operating, AIG is not for you.

I worked at AIG part-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

The pace of work is fairly slow.

    Cons

Poor culture and uncaring management. Manager lacks ability to understand subordinate needs and issues. A lot of people seem to have complaints about one thing or another. There is too much politics happening in the company, yet no one dares to speak up, mainly because the manager is also involved. A lot of trust issues.
