They will offer you very high salary but will put extra-ordinary conditions for PLI, Quarterly, attendance that you are bound to lose a lot. High salary because nobody joins for any other reason and nobody stay for more than 2 years. Many have left in 2 days. Be prepared to be fleeced literally robbed when you resign. All policies not mentioned in the agreement will be used to withold all kinds of benifits. In my case, I was absent for 9 days in notice period and I asked that it may not be extended but I suffer salary deduction. What was awaiting still seems incredulous: they deducted 9 days for being absent in the month and another 9 days for not fulfilling notice period. Double deduction. Also I had 4.5 leaves which were never encashed. My PLI of the previous quarter was not given because I resigned in that quarter. Even when I explained that I only resigned but fulfilled the period of quarter in the office, I was told in 'verbal' without any policy that 'If you resign in the quarter, PLI is only given if you fulfill notice period. A company that claims to have revenue of 5 crores but never declares it and steal 1000 rupees from former empoyees. It makes me sick. I write this to only warn people before they join here. Not a single employee will be found who will say "I am looking to make a career here". This company is like a guest house, you stay here for a few days and realize that everybody in the guest hourse is only here to fleece you. All efforts will be made to deduct money from you. In fact the company has no work the whole year. They will make all kinds of silly pet projects from you and then ask you to prove that you are working and if you can't prove it, then forget about the approval. Approval for testers is never above 20%. Of course if you are ready to work 12 hours everyday, your appraisal can be 90%. It is a strange company, some people get 5% and some others 100%. Once an employee got 2000 rs appraisal for the year(200 rs p.m). What a astronomical disparity All round harassment. People have complained of feeling so stressed out working here. Not a single mail of appreciation. Testing team does not exist for the company. No matter how much you do, A tester has the same status as the guards in the company. The MD has even once said that (All Guards, Quality and Testing are there to safeguard controls) Basically, this is one of those companies that are here to make money at the expense of your dignity. They don't give a if you die or live but simply that the work is done. So many HRs have been hired and fired and have left the job. Unfortunately, there are some who think they can get away with the moral responsibility by saying "I am only following orders" when they don't realize some brave HRs have left the job because they didn't want to do the dirty work and have it on their conscience.

Pros

Good Infrastructure, office at good location, free lunch and biscuits etc.

Antique technology handled by even more antique people but OLD is GOLD a/c to AKS. Except software other department comes under minority, so if u r joining AKS in other deptt., you should think 100 times. Code of conduct is better than Hitler's but somewhere equivalent. At several moments, you will think u have trapped in a cage. 99% employees sit, abuse & talk about revolution in AKS in personal but no body has a courage to say and show. Every next employee talks about to leave the company but no body is getting job because AKS ruins many enthusiasm and makes people lethargic. AKS wants employee to sit 9hrs in office and to fill the PMS on time, no matter what u work in office time while sitting. No training for freshers, work from very first day. AKS hires freshers from reputed college but fails to sustain them b'coz AKS doesn't have projects, so any day you can throw out from AKS, no matter whether you are fresher or experienced one. English is really a RED HOT topic in AKS. Desi company,Desi Employee. NO chit chat allowed, no festival celebration, no new year no christmas, u can expect only pin drop silence in AKS.(shame) HR is just like MR. INDIA, will entertain you when you join & when you leave AKS. Sales team- must say very lucky people- do nothing and get good salaries.(ruining their own career only).

Pros

Good for those who doesn't know about company history(but soon they will regret) Company has many certification like CMMi 5, ISO 9001,27001 etc...(good for company only). Company provides FREE lunch facility. Company bears higher management with no benefits from them(proved). Salary on time 7th of every month.

Cons

1) Non respect for employees. 2) No flexible hours.....AKS is a trap....once inside forget about outside world. 3) Company can fire you once your need get finished (very bad but common practice in AKS). 4) Higher management except only few must attend ENGLISH COACHING classes. 5) One MAN army with one man decision.......no decision will be entertain from anybody in the company. 6) If you will do hard work..just forget about any appreciation coz soon they will start treating you like a cattle. 7) Few friends of "one man army" are there with no benefits (getting higher salaray) coz of bragging. But they actually are idle person who does nothing.(if anybody can tell the importance of those i bet i will write my name here on glassdoor,,,,an open challenge for you AKS). 8) They people fail to sustain employee, if you cant bear then why you hire them. 9) HR department......till date in my career never seen such a useless department.......no power to take any decision......no employee engagements..........cant able to make any policy for the welfare of employees..............even they people do accept such blames(i am talking about HR head) rest all are clerk with no mind. 10) Every second person is frustrated in AKS (very fair) and looking for change thats why attrition rate is high. 11) AKS doesnt respect employee loyalty (no matter how old is the employee). 12) No KRA has defined, they can give you any work no matter you know it or not but want it at any cost within graveyard timelines. 13) Very interesting........in AKS there is only one Festival and that is ANNUAL Function(very poor)..............no HOLI ,,,,NO DIWALI....... 14) Please ask for the leaves on risk. 15) Very bad lunch quality. 16) No social life 17) Fresher comes and go (very fast)
