Applied for the job expected it to be real scientific and all but was very let down when I started working there. All you do is type into a online spread sheet a bunch of figures by first testing the electrical conductivity, pH, colour, etc of samples of lubricants that have come from mine sites all over the state. The problem is that they expect you to test way too many samples everyday that it is impossible to keep up. The people who work there are very weird, even for someone like me who is a little weird myself.
