The environment is extremely toxic, HR does absolutely nothing to address even the WORST bad actors (to no one's surprise), there are untalented, overcompensated, bloated and unoriginal white men in every top position, they underpay writers' assistants and only hire upper level writers in mini-rooms (so many of the issues that caused the WGA strike are practices AMC condones and participates in), promotions were always few and far between and incredibly delayed - AND usually the person would make less money once promoted than they were making before!
The company won't even let employees have free access to their streaming services AND wouldn't let employees participate in a class action lawsuit AGAINST the company for selling the info from their streaming services to third-parties without customer consent, plus it's owned by the Dolan Family who are literally using facial recognition to stop people from going to Madison Square Garden if they are aiding in pending litigation against the family/their companies. Truly Orwellian - it's no wonder working at their network sucks.
