Great Learning Experience
Pros
Great learning experience, got me into the biotech industry. I learned ALOT about medicine and diabetes, got to shadow/observe many nurses/NP/PA/MD. Great stepping stone opportunity if you are looking to build your resume or are applying to grad/professional school.
Cons
NOT a team feel. My co-workers were awesome but we all HATED our lives because management was horrible. The company is very top heavy, giving themself big salaries while paying employees the bare minimum. I have never worked around doctors with such BIG egos. Always felt like we weren't doing a good enough job, pressure to work overtime or off the clock, never got raises or bonuses. Had to literally FORCE them to give raise/promotions. You will not survive if you are not willing to fight for your worth and/or very independent and self-confident because you will get NO reassurance or praise working at AMCR. Constantly thrown under the bus because everyone just wants to save their own skin. Also, very little room for growth because they have no confidence in their employees.
