    Pros

Provides good entry level experience working on an investment platform.

    Cons

The work culture is not too positive and the processes are very complicated.

    Advice to Management

Work on simplifying processes and create a workplace people enjoy coming to work for everyday.

I worked at AMP Limited full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Reasonable levels of pay, some really really great people in lower level jobs, nice office & environment to work in, large organisation.

    Cons

Bad management and culture, cover-ups & favouritism. Senior leaders focus on profits over customers. Very rigid in making changes to improve customer outcomes.

    Advice to Management

Change your whole senior management team, make sure you replace them with people who care about the 'little' people, but particularly customers - put them first!

    Pros

    - Circular Quay office has good city and harbor views
    - Very close to the CQ station

    Cons

    - Folks who have been there for a long time are the most resistant to change and some dislike contractors who bring forth new ideas.
    - Politics is a major disruptor.
    - Collaboration within project team members are a rare occurrence.
    - Technical and non-technical teams have their own ways of working. No convergence.
    - Too many people driving the same project which then becomes directionless.
    - Some old timers have big egos which comes in the way of progress.
    - Tribal mentality comes in the way of progress and collaboration.
    - Quick to lay blame or point fingers at people when something goes pear shaped.
    - Micro management still exists in 2018.

    Advice to Management

    - Change flows down from the top. Leadership team must take the onus for cultural reform
    - Old timers must be coached to move with the times
    - Face to face communication and collaboration should be promoted
    - Effort must be diverted towards brining in a cultural change

I worked at AMP Limited full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Good Location at Circular Quay
    Nice people to work with

    Cons

Too many people have been there for a longtime. It feels a bit like a government organisation. Rely's on super contributions which are almost guaranteed.
Majority of the meetings I had people weren't interested.
Office is very cramped as they have moved into the old building. Not much space and takes ages to get the lift in the morning.
Unncessary cost cutting, when they are making a massive profit.

    Advice to Management

Bring new people in, the place needs to re-identify itself. Don't bother bringing new people in if you still want to follow the old ways.
