    No Opinion of CEO

I worked at AMP Limited full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - Good team - Friendly culture - High intensity

    Cons

    - Understaffed, my whole team is working overtime everyday and we still can’t get things done. - Slow platform and complicated website. North is a very slow platform. AMP website and contact centre line is a nightmare. It is hard to download forms and difficult to get into contact with the right team. The products also have confusing names.

    Disapproves of CEO

I have been working at AMP Limited full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

My direct team is great, good boss, we have good access to external thought leadership via Amplify. Pay ok, I like CQ location though building over crowded pre covid.

    Cons

Group Leadership Team in-fights and back stabs like an episode of Days of Our Lives. Indiscreet complaining at Exec level about each other, which distracts from no one being able to make a decision. AMP Australia is a basket case. LT spends most of their time complaining about their group function colleagues. No vision or clear roadmap. Revenues going backward. Unpleasant place for women since becoming a credit suisse boys club.

I worked at AMP Limited full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Location is good, nice views of the bridge

    Cons

Nepotism is rife with managers hiring friends who have absolutely no knowledge of the role they are hired for, usually specialized roles which pay well and require significant years of knowledge, bullying is widespread and openly demonstrated. Management use useless consultancies to hide their ineptitude. If you ever get offered an interview or role at this place, turn it down, it is not worth the stress and your mental health is worth more than any money you would earn here.

I worked at AMP Limited full-time

    Pros

    The view from any floor

    Cons

Harassment and bullying stems from the executive leadership team, to senior leadership team down to your manager including HR. All endorse humiliation and persecution of innocent staff. Abuse of expenditure and funding at all levels to cover jobs for mates or to keep the projects running and not deliver at incredibly high rates. A shameful and disgraceful culture towards clients and staff.
