Rich in opportunities. Poor in everything else. Literally.
Pros
You will have plenty of opportunities. The growth curve for me was steep and people in supporting departments were open to helping and supporting me. If you want to learn, this is the place. Excellent and non-judgemental team-mates. Found the most amazing mentor here.
Cons
The team has always been underpopulated for my whole time here. You get so many opportunities because there is nobody else around to give it to. When it comes to appraisals or hikes, you will be made to feel like you are the most worthless. My appraisal meeting was the absolute worst where after months of overtime, I was told that I am not giving enough to the company and that I had no grounds to even be asking for a hike of any sort — and then they proceeded to offer me a couple thousand as my "appraisal" and got offended when I refused to accept it. Terrible work-life balance and completely unsupportive when it comes to sick days. I have had weeks of taunts thrown at me for taking a rare day off for poor health. People not taking sick leaves and showing up for work in spite of their discomfort are celebrated and touted as examples here.
