Please, don't even consider this place!

Pros

Small team, small scale. Some teachers are nice and some students are good. That's about it

Cons

The people who runs this so called "school" are master manipulators. They may seem nice on the outside, but really , they're not. They will go all out to butter you up, make you feel like you're an added value to their team, give you what you want at first, but then, it all becomes clear as to what they're doing behind closed doors. You see, it's a family business, which is fine, many businesses are also like that, but this particular family just loves to save their image and their name and the rest of us are just collaterals. Yes, they pay well I guess, they would even offer you a salary that is way above your own asking salary. But please, that is just to lure you in. Fairness? Honesty? Respect? Doesn't exist. It's all a bed of roses when you start until the thorns come out. All the bad Google Reviews, I can tell you, they are all true. Not one of them are even lying. If they can get their own management and students to fake good reviews, you already know the lengths that they will go to just to save their "school". They are not properly licensed, so, that itself is already dangerous. EPF, SOCSO and benefits? Those are things that are unknown to them because we worked hard, but our rights, stolen! Please, don't even consider this place no matter what. Nice pay, nice people, nice place? Just don't. You will definitely regret later on. To the ones who stayed, my only question to you is, is it all really worth it? How long do you think you'll "get your way"? It'll all come crushing down soon, just wait and see.

Pros

The students are sweet and parents are lovely.

Cons

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my time at School Able Learners compels me to warn others—especially fellow educators—about the reality behind the façade. Despite marketing itself as a “future international school,” this institution operates more like a glorified tuition centre, recently rebranded as an “academy” in what appears to be a superficial attempt to mask its shortcomings. The truth is, it is far from meeting the standards of a legitimate international school. Key issues I faced: Unethical Employment Practices: EPF and SOCSO contributions were consistently delayed, and acquiring a simple salary slip often meant repeated follow-ups and "begging." This reflects serious mismanagement and a lack of respect for teachers’ rights. No Proper HR System: There is no structured or professional human resource department. Everything runs on vague verbal agreements and last-minute decisions. Accountability is practically non-existent. Biased and Toxic Culture: If you're no longer seen as “beneficial,” expect to be silently targeted or pushed out. The environment breeds favoritism and distrust rather than collaboration and growth. Unqualified Staff: Shockingly, most of the teachers employed do not hold any formal teaching qualifications. Naturally, this is one of the reasons they cannot meet the requirements of an actual IGCSE-accredited school. Untrained Leadership: The so-called IGCSE “coordinator” once made an uninformed claim that students couldn’t wear jackets to the exam hall—something that reveals a complete lack of familiarity with actual Cambridge examination procedures. To any aspiring teacher considering a role here: do not be misled by the promises of "international school" status or future upgrades. If you value stability, professionalism, and basic statutory rights—this is not the place for you. I am immensely relieved to have left this toxic and unstructured environment. I now work at a well-established and genuinely reputable IGCSE school that honours its teachers with timely pay, proper documentation, professional standards, and most importantly, respect. P/ S - IF YOU SEE THEM REPLYING SOMETHING THAT THE TEACHER HAVE DONE MISTAKE OR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, JUST SMILE COZ THATS HOW THEY TRY THEIR BEST TO FAKE THINGS OUT. THEY ARE THE WORST EVER MANAGEMENT THAT I HAVE CAME ACROSS, FULL OF LIES, NON COMPLIANCE AND THEY WILL TURN THE WHOLE TABLE AROUND BY SAYING THE TEACHERS ARE WRONG. I HAVE PROVE OF CONVERSATIONS THAT THEY MISSED ALL THE STATUTORY DUTIES. ITS APPALING TO SEE THEIR AUDACITY!!!
