Pros

Communication skills were great, they made sure staff were stocked with items they needed for the job and made sure they were up to date on all trainings.

Cons

They have efforts for safety when going into homes, but this was a personal stressor.

Pros

This job allows for a very flexible work environment. You are able to make your own schedule and when you are not completing family training visits, you are working from home. Gas mileage reimbursement is nice because it is almost always more than what you actually spend on gas each month (though there is a cap on the amount each month) If you truly care about the families you are working with, this can be the most rewarding job you'll ever have. You truly become a part of the families that are on your caseload.

Cons

There is a very high turnover rate for a reason. The workload can be grueling and the caseload numbers are always higher than what is promised. It is almost impossible not to work after hours, no matter how efficiently you work or how organized you are. There are periods of time where you can be done at 3, and other times you will be up working until midnight on paperwork and notes. The pay to workload ratio just isn't worth it. It can be a toxic work environment depending on what supervisor you receive. Some are very supportive and train you well and others will not train you properly and then criticize when you are not doing things correctly. The job is very paperwork heavy so if you can't keep up with documentation and assessments, you will be overwhelmed. Personally I had to travel A LOT. Some visits were 10 minutes from me and others were 45min from where I lived so some days were nothing but driving it felt like.

Pros

This was my first job after college and I loved every second of it. The staff and the owners were amazing. I loved working for them!

Cons

There are no cons. If you love children then you'll love this job
