I've been with the organization for over 10 years and let me tell you - the amount of change we have had within IT and overall has been astounding - we are undertaking a significant transformation of our core platforms. This speaks volume of the entire leadership to be able to invest in our future to continue to make us elite.

Cons

The company is like a small family - lots of tribes and small family type of gossip.

Great benefits. Keep your head down and you may work there awhile.

Cons

Everything that made the company great is going away. No internal promotions (unless you go on conferences with senior leadership), culture is changing - they think they are AIG, and you have to leave the company and come back to get the same pay as your peers.

Accident Fund (AF Group) lacks diversity in their leadership and mid-level management. While the culture is nice it is not inclusive for minorities who want to climb the ladder of success. There are many qualified minorities who do not get fair opportunities.
