Pros

Decent pay...although not worth what you have to go through

Cons

Ran by the "good ol boys" network. If your not one of them, you will be expected to work twice as hard for half the pay and be treated like a lower form of life. I've never seen greater double standards and preferential treatment anywhere in my life. Runs off of butt-kissing instead of hard work. Management is totally clueless and incompetent VP is the CEOs buddy and has no idea whatsoever how to run a manufacturing business and has already ran out half the company Treat people like objects, have hired waves of people, only to lay them off a month or two later (has happened multiple times)

I want you to know I read your entire review a few times, noticing you gave us 1 star in every category expect for pay. While I strongly disagree with your characterization of our leadership, I can tell you we do make mistakes. What has defined our company isn’t our mistakes, however but how we improve because of them. The best way to improve is to find actionable steps, and I'd love to listen to you and better understand your perspective. jb@accu-mold.com ~Justin, Communications

Pros

It’s a job and pays the bills. If you are stuck in this area, it might still be a nice stepping stone. I would just be careful that if you are trying to climb this corporate ladder, you might find that it’s leaning against the wrong wall and come tumbling down.

Cons

There are a lot of egos and dead weight, especially in management that reject the idea of trimming the fat and operating as a lean company. I think that fear of listening to constructive criticism to help improve the company is a big problem. Suggestions are publically asked for but frowned upon when given, so be careful of that trap. This attitude that we are Accumold, so therefore we don’t have to ___ gets really old fast and I believe will ultimately take us down, with the help of Roger of course, sooner then we think. Gary started a good company. It’s just too bad it being run this way.

What a Joke

Pros

Easy to get hired, don't require any common sense or education.

Cons

Don't care about your future, your continuing education, or how hard you work. Treat you like a number and most people are immature and petty. Feels like high school with cliques more than a work place. Your yearly pay raise will be 8 cents if you're lucky. You'll be on 2nd shift or night shift forever unless you have been there for 10 years. They'll make you work weekends in the summer. Randomly fires people for whatever they feel like. No company-based health insurance, no sick days, no personal days.

This review is uncomfortable to read, but I want you to know I did look into your statements. While I don't agree with your conclusions, I would like to better understand your perspective and discover why you were unaware of our health-insurance. I realize time has passed since this review, but I'd love to listen and hear from you in person. Please reach out to me personally at jb@accu-mold.com. ~Justin, Communications
