Pros

The employees are the nicest most caring people I've worked with. They are the ones keeping that company together.

Cons

Everything! I have nothing nice to say about this company or their work ethic. I should of listened to my gut and NEVER taken this job offer. There's a load of work to do, but they leave it up to one person to do a job that takes 2 or 3 people to complete. HR is a joke if you have any complaints or questions whatsoever. The hours are long and there's hardly any work/ life balance for the employees. This is a family owned business so they favor their own kind over hard working employees. I've seen relatives of the owners show up to work at 11:30am and leave at 5:00pm and no one bats an eye, meanwhile if you're late 15-20 minutes because of train troubles you get reprimanded. Don't even get me started on the lack of raises this company offers, only the top positions get the full benefits while the people that really deserve the raises don't see a cent. This has been the WORST job I've had thus far and I'm so glad I got out of there when I did. Even the employees have warned any new person that steps foot in this place.

Pros

-Jewish holidays off in addition to some national holidays -Leave early on Fridays (but depends on the time of year)

Cons

-low pay across the board and unwilling to give raises annually (if ever) -low PTO/Sick days -inappropriate/unprofessional behavior, especially from the owners of the company -lack of respect/consideration for any personal situations/emergencies that may arise -the office itself is a safety hazard -dirty/over cluttered workspaces, no one has any room for their products -you will be forced to work 3 jobs for the price of 1 (barely) -little growth opportunities -many more cons you find along the way

Unprofessional environment that doesn't value employees

Pros

more autonomy than you'd find elsewhere

Cons

company was inherited by and operated by three brothers. they treat their employees like objects and act as the go-betweens for all internal processes, leaving employees silo'd and disconnected from the overall process. company benefits exist for them to be able to say they offer benefits. healthcare plan options are predatory and nonsensical, offering little to no value to employees unless you're paying 400-500 per month. no 401k match.
