Pros

- nice people, very helpful and no politics - can make new friends cos turnover rate very high, almost every few week got new people - can learn a lot because everything you ownself tank

Cons

- no work life balance because OT A LOT even though partner keeps promoting 'work life balance' and thinking that no one needs to OT - working till 10pm is a norm and no OT pay... if i can actually claim OT i would be a millionaire - most jobs are a mess... not sure why they even accepted the engagements, need spend extra time to tidy up and hence my first point - partner doesn't appreciate you at all, always ask you why OT and doesn't appreciate that you OT at your own expense to finish things up in time for review or her deadline - partner likes to scold but think that it isn't scolding but 'just saying'

Pros

Unlimited pantry but actually not unlimited.

Cons

National origin discrimination, anyhow terminate your employment pass, issue warning letter to you, threaten you to sign letter of professional negligence Irresponsible partner. only gives high-level review but you are the one to be blamed if anything happen No bonus no aws and no ot fee. Ot because of the too much workload and unreasonable demands and admin job. People here dont deserve work life balance Micro-management and boss always track your status. Will brainwash and intimidate you with harsh words, don’t come here suffer Ask for opinion but at the same time you become their next target Beware of office politics and conflicts between 2 bosses 2 months of notice period will become longer. always ignore your last date and anyhow extend people and also give you extremely unreasonable workload before you leave Not recommended for fresh graduates because they expect you to know everything and act like senior with 10 years experience but you have 0

Pros

-Get to learn a lot of knowledge as this is a small firm -Able to meet “friendly” peers -Pay is slightly higher than other firm

Cons

-Terrible managing partner who will criticise and insult you just because you are leaving the firm -They will extend your notice period with a reason that your handover does not meet their satisfactory level ( the truth is they can’t get new employees in so they are trying to make you work with them a few more weeks) -Partners occasionally seeking feedbacks from staffs but they usually wouldn’t accept it and claim that it’s common in public accounting firm or trying to “brainwash” the staff -Partners keep emphasising to their staff not to leave negative comments or feedbacks on social media as they are unable to get new employees in ( but those feedbacks are facts :) ) -There’s too much of cons working in this company.
